Challenge Modes

Challenge Modes

• Currently only available in Veeshan's Peak, but implementation will follow for Velious after all content has been defeated on regular mode
• Challenge Mode difficulty is a step-up from regular difficulty, sometimes with increased health, damage, abilities and new mechanics
• Challenge Modes are only available in Instanced content
• The reward for defeating challenge mode is typically additional loot drops, but not generally increased loot quality

Veeshan's Peak Challenge Mode

• To enable Challenge Mode in Veeshan's Peak, when you enter your instance, the first thing you should do is speak to Temporal Arcanist Fentegrasp and relieve him of his duty of holding back the convergent energy
• If any boss is encountered on regular mode before speaking with Temporal Arcanist Fentegrasp, he will disappear and no longer be available to convert the raid to challenge mode
• Once you have converted the raid to challenge mode, you must get a new instance if you decide to go back to regular mode
